Meet the Team

Mark Fenton FCCA – Director
Mark trained with the practice and qualified in the summer of 2005, he became a partner in 2009 alongside the founder partners where he tapped into their vast experience of over 30 years in the industry. Mark took over the Practice in 2011.
Mark prides himself on knowing his clients, if they have a problem he wants to know about it and is not your typical accountant.
Outside of the office Mark loves his football and is a big Sheffield Wednesday fan. He’s also a keen runner and has completed runs ranging from 10k to a full marathon.


Eric Kaye QBE – Accounts Manager
Eric started life in the Accountancy profession with Grant Thornton and has over 40 years’ experience in the profession working in accountancy offices in and around the York area.

Eric has an extensive and wide range of knowledge of taxation legislation and reporting requirements for owner-managed business’ regardless of their size or legal status.

Eric has assisted many clients giving advice on starting a business, tax planning during its existence to advising on extraction of funds on cessation.

Outside the office, Eric is keen follower of sport including golf, football and rugby. His other hobbies include travel and socialising.


Julie Trees MAAT – Accounts Senior
Julie is the longest serving employee at Peckitt Ogden & Co and joined the firm over 20 years ago, prior to this she spent a few years at another practice in York.
Julie is a very bubbly character and clients have commented that she always seems to have a smile on her face. Being friendly and approachable is a very important part of our firm’s culture.
In her free time, which is very limited with having two teenage children, you’ll find her head buried in a good book.


Deborah Lowe – Accounts Senior
Deborah would beat Julie for her long service award if you include her career break whilst she brought up her daughters. She returned to the practice in 2005 and has fantastic knowledge of clients’ yester years. Deborah enjoys her dancing, whether this is her self-participating or watching her daughters compete.


Aimi Chester – Book-keeper
Aimi looks after client’s book-keeper requirement that we preform in-house. Aimi joined the practice back in 1996
Outside of work Aimi enjoys her reading and is a big Chelsea fan or should that be a John Terry fan…..


Sophie Bean – Trainee Accountant
Sophie joined in the summer of 2014. Sophie currently in her final year of her AAT.
She is a keen horse rider, looking after horses and competing occupies her free time.


Lois Gott – Book-keeper
Lois joined the practice in October 2015 after working for one of York’s largest accounting practices for 15 years. In total Lois has about 30 years of practice experience in and around the York area.

Having had a five-month break Lois decided she needed to start work again and joined us to help with client’s book-keeping and payroll requirements. In her spare time, Lois enjoys holidays in the sun, weekend city breaks, listening to live music and walking.


Liam Crook – Accounts Trainee
Liam is the youngest member of the team and is studying towards his AAT qualifications.

Liam enjoys watching a wide variety of sports including football, boxing and he always enjoys a day at the races.
